Hello guys!

Today's review will be on *drumrolls*......

LOL i know you can see from the title!

This Banila Co Clean it Zero, a cleansing balm remover that i have been using for some time. This is my 2nd tub (Resveratrol) and 4th tub (Clean It Zero) that i have been using!

So, if you have not already known, Banila Co has 4 different tubs for their Clean It Zero.

I purchased mine from the ever trusty ALTHEA.

Image taken from Althea's Website

So, the very first jar i purchased was (Resveratrol-Green Tub) since my skin is very oily. And then i decided to try the one for Dry Skin (Radiance-Silver Tub) since i also have dehydrated skin and my skin's really dull and i thought my skin can look a little brighter after using it. And then i purchased the one for normal-combination skin (Pink-Pink Tub) as it is the one with the most review. And then i went back to (Resveratrol-Green Tub) and i believe you should already know why.

Ingredients

Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, PEG-20 Glyceryl Triisostearate, PEG-10 Isostearate, Polyethylene, Butylene Glycol, Water, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oilm, Propanediol, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Vine Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Root Extract, Thuja Orientalis Leaf Extract, Zanthoxylum Piperitum Fruit Extract, Resveratrol, Butylparaben, CI 42090, CI 19140, Fragrance

I only know what a Resveratrol is like now (while i'm writing this post).

Apparently it's a natural antioxidant that helps fight free radical damage.

The other ingredients are mainly derived from plants/ fruits which i prefer as my skin is rather sensitive. Contains Paraben, Colorant & Fragrance though!

Very pretty tub, which i just broke after dropping on the floor...

Balm to oil formula which i love! I spend some time massaging my face with this

Comes with a spatula.. Which i never used...

Review

Well, i'm into my 2nd tub. Meaning i do love this product alot! For me, i use it only to remove my face makeup. I use a separate Eye & Lip Makeup Remover for my eye makeup!

I'm not too sure if my eyes are really sensitive or this cleansing balm stings my eye ALOT. This is also why i only use it for my face makeup!

What i love:

- Fruity scent and my favourite among the 3 i have used

- Balm to oil formula. Dissolves every single traces of makeup

- After dissolving into oil, it feels really light & easy to massage with

- Not super oily like some Cleansing Oil

- Doesn't break me out

What i hate:

- Stings my eyes, ALOT

Comparison between all 3 Clean it Zero

Scent: My favourite have got to be Resveratrol-Green! It has a fruity scent, while Radiance-Silver is a floral scent and Pink smells exactly like cough syrup (AKA CHERRY).

WINNER: RESVERATROL (But it's up to your own preference)!

Consistency: You know how a product's consistency can also affect the amount of product you use? Radiance-Silver Tub was the thickest and does not spread as well as the other two. Meaning, i use more product too cause it doesn't melt from balm to oil instantly.

WINNER: RESVERATROL!

Effectiveness: Resveratrol-Green worked the best for me! After it turned into an oil, it is the most lightweight one, and feels really nice and easy to spread & massage on my face! Radiance-Silver was the thickest. I hated it so much. It's for dry skin but i don't see how it is easy to spread for people with dry skin. Because it is so difficult to spread, it melts slower into oil and just dont feel as clean as the other 2 tubs. Skin doesn't feel moisturised or gets brighter either. Pink was just average (after using Resveratrol-Green). Pink removed waterproof eye makeup makeup better! But, all 3 stings my eyes.

WINNER: Pink!

Removing test for Resveratrol VS Pink!

Pink works better for waterproof eye products as you can see. My eyeliner was completely removed! However, i still prefer Reservatrol for it's lightweight & easy to melt & spread consistency. No issues for removing my face makeup too!

Products used: Concealer, Lipstick, Eyeliner, Eyebrow Pencil, Super Duper Waterproof Mascara

Resveratrol - Green. Unable to remove eyeliner & mascara

Products used: Concealer, Lipstick, Eyeliner, Eyebrow Pencil, Super Duper Waterproof Mascara

Pink - Everything removed except a little of mascara residue. Note that my Mascara is well-known in the market for it's "hard to remove" formula. So, this Pink tub might be able to remove normal mascara!

Price

SGD 27 from Althea. It's very affordable! If you were to get it directly from Korea, i believe it's definitely a MUST BUY LIAO!

Conclusion

I really love this Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm. Although i keep writing about how Radiance is so bad of a product, i still find it better than the normal Cleansing Oils which i have used before. At least it doesn't leave super oily residue on the skin.

Just my opinion: Don't waste you money getting Radiance for it's "brightening" claim. You can just use some brightening skincare products for that. Removing makeup is still the main purpose of a makeup remover. So, i highly recommend Resveratrol or Pink! Pink if you want something to remove both face and eye makeup! I don't think i will ever try Purity-Blue cause i'm afraid i will be disappointed.

But for Resveratrol, i believe i will keep on repurchasing it, until it no longer manufacture i guess! :)

*All opinions are based on my skin type. May or may not work on your skin.*
