Orbis, an oil-free skin care brand from Japan was first introduced to me by a friend of mine and i'm so glad to have started using their products!

For my very first beauty review, i will be sharing this Gem that i have chanced upon a blog and this product really saved my skin!

Let me first talk a little about my skin! Around a year back, i started getting Hormonal Acne around my jawline & neck! Those huge cystic acne! It was getting pretty serious whereby there would be afew growing at one spot! I wished i have pictures but obviously i deleted all the pictures which i looked bad in ! :x

So back to this product i will be reviewing about. Reason for me reviewing this is also partly due to the lack of reviews on this product! Or i should say, i only found ONE review on it!

Okay so what is this Gem? [ ORBIS CLEAR STEP]. I cant read jap but thats like the only name i could find on the packaging!

And what it says on the packaging:

Orbis Clear Step

- Beauty supplement for clear and healthy skin

- Formulated with 3 types of B Vitamins and Vitamin C, L-Theanine and Licorice Extract to combat adult acne

Ingredients: Dextrin, Edible Fat and Oil, Agar, Starch, Dokudami Extract, Adlay Extract, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Vitamin C, L-Theanine, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B2, Niacin, Licorice Extract, Calcium Stearate, Shellac.

Recommended Daily Intake: 2 tablets daily with warm water or lukewarm water.

60 Tablets in one packet. SGD 30 (which makes it ~$1 per day)

And since it was something that was going to be taken orally, i did a little reseach on the ingredients first to make sure that it's gonna be safe! But here's a more detailed one that i have researched!

Dokudami Extract: A herb, aids in detoxification, antibacterial & anti-inflammatory against bacteria that causes acne.

Adlay Extract: Natural antioxidant, prevents Melanin production.

Vitamin C: I'm sure everyone knows it's great for whitening. Also helps to boost collagen production! Definitely something you should take to lighten acne scars!

L-Theanine: Derived from tea leaves! Helps relieve stress.

Vitamin B6: Too many benefits. One of which that can relate to acne is that it prevents production of excess sebum.

Vitamin B2: Maintaining collagen level for healthy skin & hair + many more beneifts.

Niacin (Vitamin B3): Speeds up cell metabolism and cell turnover. Repairs skin & strenghtens skin barrier.

Licorice Extract: Whitening!

Basically everything is good for the skin except those that i didnt mention which are just some ingredients that's used to make into a pill.

Review

Started my first packet of Orbis Clear Step on March 19 2016. It's been 4 months (4 packets) now and I LOVE IT!

First week or two into it, i did not see much results but i believe those suffering from acne skin should already know that acne is something that will not go off in a day!

After my first month, i definitely did see improvement in controlling the acne on my jawline/ neck! It's been 4 months now i i do still get acne but maybe just 1-2? I have 2 acne on my jawline now which just popped out like after ~1-1.5 months (might be due to me consuming milk products/peanuts recently).

Other than controlling my acne, i don't think i have seen any other benefits from it. But i'm more than happy about having my acne controlled!

Any side effects after eating Orbis Clear Step?

Definitely!

1) Noticed that my lips became chapped and dry after starting them. But it's not so serious though. Just that i would have to scrub my lips and put on lip balm before i sleep every night

2) My urine turned bright yellow/ green! Got a shocked the first time after taking the supplment and went to google. It's all due to the excess Vitamin B2 that arent absorbed into body. Pheww.

And that's about all! No Cons at the moment! The beauty advisor over at Orbis told me that i can continue taking these pills to maintain my skin so i have been taking them daily (if i remember).

Will i recommend it?

Definitely if you have been suffering from hormonal acne! If you just have 1-2 tiny pimples here and there (which i think is pretty normal), please consult the beauty advisors first before purchasing!

Yay to acne free skin! I can accept 1-2 pimples on my face due to some random clogged pores but not acne! Acne really pisses me off cos they can be really painful! T.T
